Girls Challenge (6th-10th grade)

June 6 - 12, 2010

The purpose for Girls Challenge is to strengthen girls in the Lord Jesus Christ through the use of outdoor activities that will be used to challenge and motivate them in their walk with the Lord Jesus. This is a separate camp patterned after the Boys Challenge camp but adapted for girls.

Dropoff/Pickup Information - Sunday 3-5 pm; Saturday 10-11 am
 
Activities

Bible challenge, tent setup, camping at Camp Hope's Fort Leigh, lake canoeing, day hiking in the mountains, high ropes course in Gainesville, nature trail with plant expert Joyce King, campfire cooking, fishing, tubing and much more.

What to Bring

Bible, notebook, pen/pencil, flashlight, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, clothes for a full week, pillow, towels, washcloth, toilet articles, sweater/jacket, one piece modest bathing suit, fishing tackle, hiking shoes, extra shoes and socks, old shoes to wear in the river, long jeans to protect legs, small day/back pack, clothes for dress up banquet (patterened skirt and solid blouse - we will paint necklaces to match), rain jacket, sun screen, sun glasses, bug repellant, water sbottle, prescription medications.
Optional: Spending money for camp store and daily canteen.
